Anchos are the dried form of poblano chiles.  They are the sweetest of the dried chiles.  Durkee® Ancho Chile Seasoning combines them with garlic, onion, red and green bell peppers, and a dash of spice to bring you a well rounded blend.  Use it for any southwestern dish including soups, rices, salads, steaks, chicken and shrimp.  Ancho Chile Seasoning adds delicious ancho flavor in this easy marinade.


Ancho Marinade
 
25 Servings
Vegetable oil 1 1/2 cups  
Lime juice  3/4 cup   
Durkee Ancho Chile Seasoning 1/3 cup  
Chicken breasts, pork chops, steaks, seafood or vegetables 10 lbs.

Combine oil, lime juice and Durkee Ancho Chile Seasoning.

Pour over desired meat or vegetables.  Cover and marinate refrigerated at least one hour.

Remove from marinade and grill as desired.  Discard marinade.
