Durkee® Chinese 5 Spice is a traditional, pungent blend of cloves, black pepper, fennel, cinnamon and anise.  It's a natural for Asian cooking, yet versatile.  Chinese 5 Spice will bring your seafood, pork, chicken, duck or turkey to new heights -- or use it to add fireworks to carrots, sweet potatoes and rice. Use this versatile vinaigrette for tossed green salads or shrimp, chicken or pork entree salads.


Chinese 5 Spice Vinaigrette
 
1 1/2 pints 3 Quarts
Rice vinegar 2/3 cup  2 2/3 cups 
Soy sauce  2 Tbsp.  1/2 cup 
Honey  1/4 cup  1 cup 
Durkee Ground Mustard  2 tsp. 2 1/2 Tbsp. 
Durkee Chinese 5 Spice  1 Tbsp. + 1 tsp.  1/3 cup 
Peanut oil  2 cups  2 qts. 

Combine vinegar, soy sauce, honey, mustard and Durkee Chinese 5 Spice in a blender or food processor.  Blend until smooth.  Gradually add peanut oil, continuing to blend.

Refrigerate until ready to use.  Serve over green or entree salads.
