Gazpacho Yield: 25 - 8 oz. Servings
A summer favorite made extra special with Durkee® Hot Sauce.
Tomatoes, canned, diced 7 lbs.
Durkee® Ground Mustard 1/2 tsp.
Durkee® Ground Black Pepper 3/8 tsp.
Sugar 1/2 tsp.
Durkee® Hot Sauce 1/2 cup
Tomato juice 2 qts.
Cucumber, chopped 12 oz. or 3 cups
Green pepper, chopped 8 oz. or 2 cups
Onion, finely minced 4 oz. or 1 cup
Celery, chopped 12 oz. or 3 cups
Green chilies, chopped, drained 8 oz.
In a food processor or blender, blend diced tomatoes, seasonings, sugar and Durkee® Hot Sauce. Add tomato juice and vegetables. Chill well. Serve with toasted pita chips.
