Pepper Steak with Brown Gravy 8 Servings 25 Servings
Round steak, cut into 1" thick strips 2 lbs. 6 lbs.
Tone's® Brown Gravy Mix 3 Tbsp. 1/2 cup + 2 Tbsp.
Water 1 cup 3 cups
Tomatoes, canned whole, peeled 2 - 10 oz. cans 2 - 30 oz. cans
Green pepper, medium, cut into strips 2 each 6 each
Onion, cut into strips 2 each 6 each
Brown round steak strips in skillet or sauté pan. Mix Tone's® Brown Gravy Mix and water together and add to browned beef strips. Cook gravy and meat mixture until a boil is reached; reduce heat and simmer. Add tomatoes, green pepper strips and onions strips and heat thoroughly. Serve warm over steamed rice or noodles.
