Go A Little Nutty!  Durkee® Black Sesame Seeds have a distinctive smooth seed and characteristic nutty flavor.  They're perfect for garnishing breads, salads, seafood and a wide variety of Asian dishes.  This versatile chicken presentation can serve as a center of the plate offering or slice and add to chicken salads.


Triple Sesame Chicken
 
8 Servings 24 Servings
Chicken breasts, boneless, skinless 8 each  24 each 
Flour, all-purpose  1/2 cup  1 1/2 cups 
Salt  2 tsp.  2 Tbsp. 
Durkee Ground White Pepper  1/2 tsp. 1 tsp. 
Eggs  1/2 cup  1 1/2 cups 
Bread crumbs, dry  1/2 cup  1 1/2 cups 
Durkee Sesame Seeds 1/4 cup 3/4 cup
Durkee Black Sesame Seeds 2 Tbsp. 1/4 cup + 2 Tbsp.
Cooking oil 2 Tbsp. 1/3 cup
Sesame oil 2 tsp. 2 Tbsp.

Pound chicken breasts so that they are a uniform thickness.

Combine flour, salt and white pepper in shallow pan.

Beat eggs in shallow pan.

Combine bread crumbs, white sesame seeds and Durkee Black Sesame Seeds in shallow pan.

Dredge chicken in flour mixture; dip in egg wash and then dredge in bread crumb mixture.

Heat cooking oil in large sauté pan.  Add sesame oil.  Add chicken and cook until brown.  Turn and brown other side.  Watch carefully as sesame seeds burn easily.  Remove chicken to shallow baking pan and bake at 350°F 10-15 minutes until internal temperature is at least 165°F.
